Suggestions from the public for the design of the Icelandic flag in the year 1914.

In the year 1913 a flag committee, appointed by the minister of Iceland, Hannes Hafstein, set forth suggestions for a new national flag of Iceland, the flag we still use today.  In their report there were also suggestions for the flag's design from the public.  This book contains those 28 suggestions illustrated and shown together for the first time.
