Pólýfónía contains 9 new pieces, some of which are inspired by great minds such as Alfred Wegener, author of "Die Entstehung der Kontinente und Ozeane" and Charles Babbage, godfather of the programmable computer.  Also influential are The Ramones, Motorhead, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Buxtehude og Pólýfónkórinn.  The singing is mostly done through vocoders, with lyrics either in English, Icelandic, German or Japanese.
